As far back as I can recall, the cornerstone of my life has been my devotion to animals and the natural world.
My life has been spent in the care of my beloved furry family of dogs, cats, and horses. They have been my strength. In my profession as a veterinary ophthalmologist, I have tended all shapes and sizes of pets, exotic species, and birds. Best of all, I have traveled to seven continents to find the quiet, wild places where the most magnificent wildlife thrived. But times have changed. My heart breaks for it.
Now, I live in San Sebastian, Spain with my beloved pooches to pursue my passions of nature advocacy and writing. My forthcoming novel is part of my lifelong mission to educate about the earth’s looming environmental crisis, especially habitat loss, and to encourage others to act to save our precious Earth and the glorious diversity she carries on board her.
